About the retreat
Beloved is a weekend retreat for young women (college-aged and young professionals), designed to deepen your understanding of relationships—from friendship and family to romantic love and your relationship with Christ. Through prayer, engaging talks, the sacraments, and genuine community, this retreat is a space to grow both humanly and spiritually.
Whether you are just beginning your faith journey or already on it, this retreat offers a chance to pause, reflect, and be renewed.
What to expect
Throughout the weekend, you will have the opportunity of:
Daily Mass, Eucharistic Adoration, and Benediction
Opportunities for Confession and spiritual direction
Guided meditations and time for silent prayer
Thought-provoking talks
Two retreat streams available:
Beginners’ Retreat: for those newer to the faith or looking to reconnect
Veterans’ Retreat: for those seeking to go deeper in prayer, discernment, and mission
All set within the tranquil and beautiful grounds of Lismullin, offering both rest and renewal.

Yes! This retreat is residential. It starts on Friday at 8pm and finishes on Sunday at 5pm.

Yes! You will have your own bedroom. All bedrooms are en-suite and have towels and linen available for you.

Yes! The meals are one of the things that people remember from Lismullin! The staff at Lismullin aim to ensure that you enjoy your experience. They offer 3 meals a day. There is also has a kitchenette where you can avail of coffee/tea and biscuits at any time.

When filling out the booking form, you will be asked about Special Requests, you can add in that field any dietary or other requirements you may have.

Yes! There are a number of people who come to this retreat who have never done a retreat before.
During the first session, we will explain everything you need to know about a retreat and how to do one well. You can always DM us on Instagram or Email: info@wearebeloved.ie and we will answer any queries you might have. We will also be there during the weekend for any questions you might have. -
Lismullin Conference Centre is located between Dunshaughlin and Navan, in Co. Meath. To find Lismullin, we would strongly recommend using your GPS and typing the full name: "Lismullin Conference Centre" The area is called "Lismullin" but if you use that search, you will end up down a cul-de-sac! Here is the link to the Google Maps!

You can travel to the event location by car or public transport.
By Bus: Bus line 109 leaving from Busaras - just ask to be dropped off at Lismullin (the bus driver needs to know this beforehand otherwise he'll drive by it!).
By car: search the full name "Lismullin Conference Centre" in GoogleMaps. If you search only "Lismullin" you will be directed to another location.Car pooling: Although there aren’t organised shuttles, if you have difficulty getting to the event location, you can call Anne on 087 250 2227 - she can try to organise a lift with one of the event participants.

There is ample parking at Lismullin Conference Centre.

Only yourself and whatever you would normally bring on a weekend away.
There is a gym so you may wish to bring gym gear if you'd like to exercise over the weekend or run in the grounds.
You may also wish to bring a notebook with you. There are options to buy a notebook and pen in Lismullin. There are ample spiritual reading material also.

A Meditation is a form of guided prayer. There will be a couple of meditations during the week in order to help attendees pray in the Oratory. They are given by a priest.

The contents of this retreat are geared for females between the ages of 18 to 35 years of age.
