What is a Recollection?

A monthly Recollection is a time set aside specifically for you to go deeper into your relationship with God. Although we might spend time in prayer each day, a recollection is a time to withdraw for a couple of hours from the noise and cares of this life in order to spend some quality time in conversation with God guided by meditation, a short talk, and time to avail of the Sacrament of Confession.
